PhD program

The Interuniversity College, Graz / Castle of Seggau

 and

The Jungian Institute / Academy for Depth Psychology, Nijmegen

The dedication and commitment of each individual PhD candidate are an indispensable prerequisite for a successful completion of their PhD thesis during this curriculum. The program aims at the active support of the PhD candidates in this endeavour. The program starts with the acceptance of a (revised) research proposal and ends with a promotion ceremony, preferably within a time frame of three years. The program includes a number of meeting sessions, including both individual and group meetings, to monitor and discuss progress and to offer the candidates a platform for oral presentations, intervision and group discussions. In between, E-tutoring and progress assessment will be offered by the Interuniversity College.

As shown below, the current program offers the PhD candidates that applied for enrollment a total of 14 meeting sessions over a three year period. Of these, 11 meetings will be held in Nijmegen (either group meetings or individual meetings with the research supervisor) and 3 group meetings in Schloss Seggau, including the final promotion ceremony.
